The Best Power Pullers Reviewed

Best Power Puller: TEKTON 5547 4-Ton Dual Gear Power Puller

Best Power Puller

TEKTON 5547 4-Ton Dual Gear Power Puller

For price vs performance, the Tekton 5547 is the best puller deal on the market hands down. What makes the Tekton such a great choice is the lifetime warranty, you don’t even need to keep the receipt you can just send Tekton a picture and they will sort any issues. The only thing that lets down the Tekton is the cable length which is on the shorter side (7ft)

Best Power Puller (Alternative Pick): Wyeth Scott A-SLT Power Puller

Best Power Puller (Alternative Pick)

Wyeth Scott A-SLT Power Puller

If you are looking for a buy it for life kind of purchase or a puller to be used in a professional capacity then I recommend the Wyeth Scott instead. It has a whopping 35ft cord length that’s over 200% longer than the Tekton. The Wyeth Scott is by far the best brand and provides premium pullers. The price however reflects this as it’s significantly more expensive but worth it if you need a pulley that won’t fail.

Best Budget Power Puller

TEKTON 5541 2-Ton Power Puller

The Tekton 5541 is the smaller brother of the 5547, Its available at a cheaper price point and comes with the same life time warranty which you wont see with any other puller at this price point.

This makes it a great choice for someone who needs a cheap quality puller for a single job task.

Best Lightweight Power Puller: BeTrueTools 2 Ton 3 Hook Double Gear Ratchet Style Power Puller

Best Lightweight Power Puller

BeTrueTools 2 Ton 3 Hook Double Gear Ratchet Style Power Puller

If you want something lightweight and compact to keep in the car the BeTrueTools only weighs 4lbs which makes it the most compact puller on the market. If you compare that to the other 2 ton pullers like the Tekton (7lbs) it’s almost half as light.

Power Pullers We Absolutely Don’t Recommend

Maasdam Pow’R Pull 144SB-6

Maasdam pullers are cheaply made and seem to break after one or two uses. I have also seen multiple claims the company won’t honor the warranty. Avoid at all costs.

Maasdam Pow’R Pull WS-1 1

For the price point, this Maasdam Pullers is just a complete rip off, not to mention the warranty issues. Not even worth getting on a discount. Stay away.

Neiko Power Cable Puller

The Neiko advertises itself as a 5-ton puller but I have seen multiple claims that it fails after 2 tons never mind 5 it’s just a cheap product with false advertising.

What We Think of Some Other Power Pullers Available

XtremepowerUS Power Puller

A good alternative pick to the Tekton and a great 4-ton puller. Has great reviews with nothing bad to say about it and features 3 hooks which is a nice feature.
